Great video! got a 09 ridgeline I noticed the fan never kicked on but it wasnt the fuses. Great truck easy to work on!

Thus is a dumb question, I'm sure. But I have a 2008 ridgeline and the fan on the driver side is making crazy racket when I turn my AC on and when I cut it off the fan goes off. Which fan would that be? Is that the fan for the radiator?

I believe the driver's side fan is listed as radiator cooling fan and passenger is listed as AC cooling fan. Sounds like the bearing may be going on the fan and making noise. See if the fan blades (disconnect the fan first so it can't come on) are "wobbling"... not necessarily has to be wobbiling for the bearing in the fan to be bad, but if it is that's an easy call,.

It’s not the bearing tho, it’s actually the brass bushing at the other end that’s a bit worn. I drilled out and inserted a piece of copper tubing and it’s runs perfectly

I did replace the right fan. Was told it was the problem, it was not.

Hard to say without diagnosis. Possible temp sensor telling computer temperature is higher than it is? Just a guess

Passenger side is condenser.

hey Charles And Cars I have a problem. well a couple. I just bought a car and he told me it was reliable. took for a test drive. it ran great. had the oil and filters changed the next day and now its overheating. it also has a problem getting up and going like at a stop light or stop sign. I can put the petal to the floor and it takes forever to go but it drives beautifully. before it overheated. no leaks or anything but I don't know what to do. I bought it so I could take my mom back and forth to dialysis and I'm just overstressed. please help.

Really hard to say, but first things I would look at would be head gasket and catalytic converters to see if either one of them is having an issue... didn't say mileage on car, but on higher mileage cars cats could be an issue. (I'm assuming that the cooling system is not low on fluid.

Take it to AutoZone have them pull for any codes
