thanks for putting out this video it is very helpful. Just wondering if you can tell me the size of the bottom bolts of the throttle body. the top 3 are the same size but the bottom is a different size, thanks

If I’m not mistaken the throttle body should be 4 10mm long bolts. 2 on top, 2 on bottom. Access them once you remove the airflow hose. That goes for almost all the screws that come off the intake and surrounding screws. All of various lengths

Sorry, I had plans to do so but it started pouring down rain so I just rushed to knock it out. Also the plugs that go into them were screwed so I had to replace them also. FYI: The 2nd solenoids I’m located directly in front of the one I pointed at. (Even more difficult to get to) I just wanted to show ppl because it took me forever to find the location of them. Only 4 cyl info can be found online.

Hi did you remove the lower intake to get the black selonid out for the front bank, im having a hard time getting it to clear. The gray one came right out

Yes. I believe so. It kept hitting the side so I had to prop it up a big to get the leverage I needed.

Did you remove just the upper manifold? Or the lower part as well?

Yes you do. It sucks because you can see them. But not enough leverage to actually get them out. The other is directly in front of it plug and 10mm facing the firewall. It’s a bit easier but takes some maneuvering to get to the 10mm and pull out

That 10mm bolt is for a fuel injector bud, i tried removing mine and it leaked a little gasoline

Yes you took off the wrong 10mm no the one I was pointing to holding the VVT Solenoid down. However, the fuel rail holding the injectors in place is indeed 10mm but no need to remove them. Both solenoids are in front of one another, the other is by the engine hoist plate. Thanks for watching

I found it but how do you get the other side out? There is no clearance space once the bolt is out

@@MN.native612 great. Ok, we’ll read the description portion under the title of this video, I typed up a short paragraph under the description of how you remove the 2. It’s crazy how easy it is to see them and access the bolts but you have to remove some much to get leverage to get them out. Let me know if you need anything else. Also, what symptoms or codes are you getting?
