Cool video! Auto part stores sell a wide variety of of little clips just to salve problems like that. It looks like the same setup on most door latch rods

I agree! I am sure about any auto parts store should have a clip to hold that rod..

Worthless .. my hood is broken… you spent way too much time showing how it works but most important part was how to do the screwdriver what little you did show, you didn’t have the camera pointing at it

@larrystuppy9922 sorry I thought in showing how it worked would help because there really is no way that I know of to show on video the other part because it is hidden behind the grill.

you need a rod with a hook to be able to pull it. atleast thats how i saw it. going try it tomorrow. thanks santa

@@TheElectronMan i just used the closed end of my wrench ,and used 2 zip ties to connect to both holes.
