2007 choppin' GT500 gets squared 285 tires and adjustable rear LCA installed

I decided I wanted to get the car a little more street friendly. In this video I try out the Atturo AZ850 summer performance tires in 285/35R20 and 285/35R19 on the 11/12 GT500 SVT PP wheels. I'm very happy with how they came out. I also wanted to quiet down some of the cabin noise, so I installed the J&M poly bushinged adjustable rear lower control arms to replace their solid mount ones. Over all I'm quite happy with the changes and have been enjoying driving the car more which was the goal.

Chopping like a lumberjack!! So good to see a video from you! The new tires look great. Your GT500 is my favorite GT500 on KZbin! Glad you fell back in love with it, after considering selling it. Not sure those hood vents will help IATs. The more I street drive my GT500, the more I love it! Keep us updated!!

Thanks man! I agree on the hood vents, part of it would be to mix things up a bit, I think I they look sweet, but I also really don't want to cut into my hood, so we'll see. They also apparently really help with down force on the front end at higher speeds, the engine bay acts like a bit of a parachute
