Yea I’m getting up to 17 mpg on the freeway. Tank is small so constantly filling up is only downside. Same trunk space as other mustangs so pretty good there. Still Gets better mpg then my gen2 raptor when combing highway and street miles

I am a muscle car man through and through , this is badass. Many people into American cars have daily drove it over the years. Locals have fireworks on bonfire night and no one moans about football fans when they make noise. Muscle cars are just brutes , brash and brawny 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 Great review Rory

My dad owns a black 2020. I did a smaller pulley, and a tune at my shop for him and it put down 821 wheel. Its definitely the most impressive production car ive ever driven in my life. Thats coming from an automotive fabrication shop owner/operator. Ive fixed, modified, restored, and driven some insanely badass cars. This thing is just, ridiculous. Totally impractical, completely bonkers, and i love it so much i dream about it. By the way after i tuned it it gets 21mpg on the freeway.

More power is fine if thats your desire, but in stick form its rather amazing. Its not easy to build a car todthat does several things rather well. I love the video and take this respectfully. It is meant, respectfully. I think it is time to call this a Muscle Racing Car and the same with Dodge and Chevy offerings, no longer company vs company, but versus the world. There seems to be disappointments, such as livability, the noise upsets locals, not available in the UK etc. I respect these opinions! All opinions are equally valid, but that is irrelevant to the purpose. In Motor Trend’s Driver’s Car of the year, yes, driver’s car, this car beat a Porsche Cayenne Turbo Coupe, a Ferrari F8 Tribute, a Corvette Z51, Porsche 718 Cayman GT4, 911 Turbo S and barely took second place behind the winner, a Lamborghini Huracan EVO, top of the line, on a typical road and hot laps on Laguna Seca, all driven by Pro, Randy Pobst, but also, editors, for talented, typical person experience. Noise level? Valid complaint, but keep in mind, what you are driving and look at the competition, it beat! A McLaren was in tears trying to beat it. Are those other cars, worth profoundly more, daily driver cars, no, bang for the buck to buy a racing car, check, sound any issue, come on (you are in an unapologetic missile), the others used paddle shifting, so this is no, Muscle Car anymore and it seems the hardest decision ever, between a Lamborghini Huracon EVO and GT500? I see drivers in North American, importing models on the time, right side drivers and here no complaints, when left side, is suited. I am just saying, jokingly and in fun, that is like complaining that your super model girlfriend, is not into little black dresses, over red. Really? Go buy a Honda Civic then and you neighbours will be fine that it is quiet, but this is a racing car and world class, against the best! You are all better drivers, but I have no issue driving a right drive NSX, borrowed, it does take adjustment, because it really is odd for a while, it should be available, right drive, but with this level of engineering, it is not so easy. We have to live with many supercars, not available, left drive and no complaints. * In text, this sounds like trolling, disrespect, but if said in person, you would know that I mean this in fun and the GT350R is to keep the noise down. All in fun and I love this channel, the video and driver! I just think it is forgotten, this is not a muscle car, in reality, when it is a coin toss, this car, or a Lamborghini, decked out. Just saying and in fun, so if it sounds bad, I am saying this is fun. You can buy a GT-500 in Canada, for $95,675, which is about $64,934 Euros and $79,236 USD. Do I need to list the prices of the cars it beat, almost winning the whole contest, because you could spend $200,000-$700,000 (McLaren that beat it by a nose) more, but why and on Laguna Seca, built, to push cars to the extreme. This sounds like a rant and I apologize for this, not intended, but not-picking a track and road, Monster. I honestly am saying this respectfully, because there is no wrong opinion, but some need reminding, this model, is no Muscle Car, if Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini and McClaren are terrified, or, they should be, because almost all lost. There was a time when one had to go far & wide, to hunt for the most ferocious beasts on the planets asphalt. Since 2020, if you listen closely, & keep a watchful eye on the roadway, you just might get a glimpse of the newest Predator to roam the streets of a town near you. Seeing the Shelby GT500 in the wild is a exciting experience. Hearing it go past you thou, dare we say, is almost magical. If you haven't driven one, don't. Ya may find that it consumes you, until you've got your own in the garage 🤔.
