Do you have a car for me to review? Do you live in the metropolitan Washington DC area? Email me at danielrschwartz96@gmail.com!

These cars are so underrated just because it was a hyundai at the wrong time. I think it looks way better than it's competition from that era. Still looks good till date. I'm thinking about picking one up as a project just to be different. I'll pick this over a celica any day.

If it were rwd it would be perfect, also the 4 speed auto kills it a little, should have used a 5 speed at least

@@bpearr8266They're decently quick with a manual. Mine went neck and neck with a G35x and a 2017 Golf GTI. It was tons of fun on twisty mountain roads. You can rocket out of corners because all the torque is in the middle of the rev band.

@@tn18977 oh I believe it for sure, I’ve always wanted to drive one. Maybe even own one someday, but yea it would have to be a manual v6

I was taking a look at this car to see if it was worth buying, but then I realized you're driving in the Rockville/Shady Grove area. Good to see another Marylander here! I couldn't mistake the roads you're driving on, I drove there all the time for college.

If you have any advice of how I could get more cars, that'd be great!
@apanda7 ай бұрын
@@AviationandAutos I don't know if you've taken this advice but i'd suggest going to local used car dealerships and ask to film their car for your channel, smart ones would see it as a quick marketing way without the heavy loss of a whole recording team and them driving it for days. Your car review's judging by this one seem neat and informative.

I like the looks of the second Gen Coupé/Tiburon so much more than this third Gen model.

even if i were a millionaire i'd want to buy one of these and have it modified with Lenso rims. my late best friend used to drive a car like that. and i want to have one as a tribute to him someday.

Man, the '03 V6 Coupe (Euro model) I have came standard with seat warmers, adjustable headlights, traction control disable button, 6 speed manual, heated wing mirrors, high spoiler and passenger side cup holder. This American GT trim seems oddly cheap in comparison. It's got snappy acceleration (and poor gas mileage), just like an entry level FWD sports car is supposed to. :)

Hi. Is there any indication when you go to manual mode? Upshift and downshift indication on the meter?
@AviationandAutos Жыл бұрын
Yes, the D becomes an M and it'll say M1-4 depending on the gear. Also shows an up or down arrow if upshift/downshift is available I believe (?)

Is this car worth it for 4,800 with 120k miles?
@lindthelegend Жыл бұрын
Seems a bit high. how old is the car? I4 or V6? (I don't own one but a guy where I live owns a Tibby, He said before purchasing the car, check the suspension, and the whole body for rust. engine-wise it's some sort of reliable. But you can't do much to the engine.)

Wait but he's got an aftermarket exhaust, I bet the original is much quieter
@peterjohnson94389 ай бұрын
The original is whisper quiet at idle, very quiet and smooth while cruising or driving in the city, and sounds like a Ferrari when RPMs go over 4500 or so. The OEM exhaust makes use of a lot of baffling, so it robs the engine of some amount of upper end power, but it's very quiet as a result. I replaced mine with free-flowing mufflers and resonator both to get back some of that upper end power and so that I could hear the engine while shifting by feel (I have the 6 speed manual).
