The sensor in the beginning of the video is not a mass air flow sensor, it’s a intake air temperature sensor, just for future reference 😉

Jeep 2007 Red light comes up as soon i start the engine and RMP goes up & down and finally vehicle turns itself OFF. I changed throttle body, Thermal sensor, accelerator paddle, water valve still the problem remains. Please advice. Thanks

I have been diagnosing p0171 p0174 lean condition for couple months, and changed a lot of parts. EGR, MAP, IAT, O2 sensor pcv........... maybe the brake booster is the final solution. In the video, you said you lost music/radio. I have the same problem. How did you fix it? I checked all fuses already, and all good. Thank you

When I changed the stock spark plugs in my 2010, at 59k miles, 2 of them were just about only hand tight.

im having the same issues but was wondering if when youd let off the throttle while the jeep was having those problems would the rpms bounce and did you ever get a fuel rich code?

I think i did i check every evap hose ,change sensor try e throttle still did at the end it was my brake buster it was leaking,if you press the break and heard a hiss noise that it keeps on going you got a leaks

My jeep will do that ..and it was running like crap i shut off and start and runs ok but it happens when i was on a traffic light for too long .. check your buster for leaks ,and if its when you pull your brake buster check if there is some break fluid in it , if there is change the master cylinder if you don’t it will damage your new break buster

Hey bro these issues are common on Mopar my 5.7 had the same issues replaced the throttle body started stalling after had lightning bolt ended up doing a re learn on the throttle and it works like new

I had to change both on my 2007 but it was because of poor braking. I too had brake fluid in the booster. Good video. Thinking when you cleaned the throttle it caused the code. Probably unrelated to your idle issue.

My jeep just got red lightning bolt on dash and it’s like it’s in limp mode it won’t go past 30 it idles really riff like a exhaust Leak or vacuum leak I cleaned the throttle body and it still doing the same thing

I really don’t think the Brake Booster has anything to do with How the Jeeps idles ?

Might have something to do with vacuum.

Most definitely can. Your booster pulls vacuum from the intake to operate brakes. If there’s a leak it could pull more air than it needs under idle. While driving and accelerating it’s under boost and the air that’s stored to go to the engine escapes through a leak.

My Jeep ran good until i took it to the dealer . They ruin it to keep you coming back . So i got rid of it .

NEVER have work done at the dealer, except warranty work. They are known as as the “Stealerships” for a reason, find a good, trusted local mechanic, if you cannot do your own regular maintenance. Do not use oil change places like Jiffy lube, they’ll destroy your vehicle.
