2008-2012 Ford Escape Rear Wiper Motor Replacement || Dead Battery Issue ||

Hello,
In this video, I am replacing the rear windshield wiper motor that broke and caused a continuous current draw from the battery and the battery died because of it. Once I removed the connector from the motor, the battery drain stopped but the wiper fluid pump also stopped working so I had to replace the motor so the windshield washer fluid system runs without issue.

Good video! Just an FYI, today I discovered on my 2012 Escape that if you remove fuse 19 from the passenger fuse box (25A fuse) it disables the rear wiper motor but still allows you to spray fluid on your front window.
