Thanks for the video, working on a buddies car this week. I was trying to make sure I got the right caliper.

Just an FYI for people who come across this, you can see the anti-rattle clip that is connected between the caliper and the caliper bracket, the tongues are on the outside of the caliper bracket at 00:25 but at 14:00 it was reassembled with the tongues the inside of the bracket. You want to make sure the anti-rattle clip tongues are on the outside of the caliper bracket. Otherwise, great video! :)

Or a breaker bar will usually work and if you don't have one but you have a small pipe that will slide fairly snugly over the end of the ratchet wrench that will work like a breaker bar too.

The new one won’t compress?

I had the same problem so I called my son who had mechanical schooling. He told me that while I am compressing the caliper piston also open the bleeder and if the piston then compresses the caliper is good but the hose to the hardline is bad. He said it is very common for the hoses to collapse on the inside and then won't let the fluid back flow and that keeps pressure on the pads constantly so they wear out quicker. So the rubber hose has to be replaced but if the piston still don't compress when you open the bleeder and release some fluid then the caliper is bad.
