Super helpful video, thank you! Heads up to others, I needed a 9 mm hex wrench for the job, not a 7 mm like they use in the video. These are 5-10 bucks and are well worth ordering beforehand just in case. 9mm is not common in many sets.

You sir, are correct. I watched two videos and they both said 7 mm, when in fact it was not a 7 mm.

Apparently some (but not all)models in 2009 and older used a 9mm hex. Sometime in 2009 (I think) they changed to 7mm hex. But any replacement caliper will use 7mm hex, so the drivers side caliper pn my 09 escape used 9mm hex and the passenger used 7mm (apparently it had been replaced by the previous owner) For some reason I had a terrible time finding a 9mm hex socket. Went to 4 stores before I found one, although they are easy to find online.

I have the 08 and the caliper bolts are 9mm not 7mm

The Allen bolts, are they slide pins? Didn’t see you clean them off and re apply grease to em, not necessary for these cars?

Your parts site does not show complete kits for Escapes made in the range that includes 04/10 manufacture date. Only those made in '09.

I've have noticed that the rotors are on the wrong side if you look carefully at the rotor groove pattern it's facing the wrong way
