I've had this vehicle since June 2015, and apart from limited visibility and the wish for an armrest in the second row, I've experienced no problems with it. My friends love it, my family loves it, and most importantly, I love it! There will always be perks with every car you buy, it's just a matter of which ones you want to deal with.

Its 2019 now ,and i bought a 2006 H3 224000 k (140000 m).Its the best suv i have driven and i thought my 2001 pathfinder was the ultimate except for the rust.I have had zero issues and even help pull people out of snow .Wish they would bring these back.Thanks for the spec,s much appreciated.

I have been seriously considering getting another one of these to replace my 2014 4Runner. If you have not driven an H3 and you are on here calling it garbage and a gas guzzler, please shut the hell up and go and drive one. They are solid vehicles and they are very stable on the road. My 07 H3X was so much more comfortable than my current 4Runner and even after 150k miles it had absolutely zero issues and nothing rattled on the inside. They are good vehicles and drive so much better than any Wrangler or FJ Cruiser imo.

Gas mileage on my H3 was about 15 mpg, which for me was fine considering the majority of my driving was highway at the time. Sorry for the year late reply, I didn't see the notification.

penadela they should make smaller sized vehicles but keep the same height, ground clearance and ability to lift and put big tires, I think if they made this they can compete with the Wrangler and FJ but they also need to partner up and make a reliable and fuel economic engine.

I have owned a 1st Gen and 2nd Gen 4Runner, and im currently shopping H3's, so i appreciate his opinion...and everyone is entitled to one, including you, him, or me. I have always loved Toyota (also owned 1st Gen Trooper and currently a 1st Gen Montero Sport/Dodge Raider), but these trucks really interest me because a co worker has one that has been well maintained and trouble free.

I knew everything about this car incorrect! First I thought the 3.7 was an Inline-6, then I get my facts straight and learn that it's an Inline-5 and now I learn that there was also a V8 available?? Wow!! It's certainly the best engine for the H3, I think!! Now, there's a last question I want answered: was the original 3.5 engine also a 5-cylinder??

I ended up getting a h3 alpha for $700 and all it needed was a ignition switch and cylinder I also replaced the starter and alternator the battery and a tune-up and ended up selling it for $3200.

Борис Александров If it's a 5-cylinder, your best off with it. The V8 H3 along with the H2 and Tahoe are gas hogs, and the Camaro is an insurance nightmare, especially if it's an SS model. The Camaro is also the least reliable, but Tahoe is most reliable.

Just my two cents anyone on this thread hating on hummers should bite thier tongue, first off it don’t matter what you drive off road is off road , second off the jeep lineup of wranglers is very comparable to the h3 except you can get a fully decked out h3 alpha adventure package for thousands less than the oh so overpriced jeep rubicon! Third off you clicked on this video so you obviously need therapy since your not only watching videos on cars you don’t like your commenting on them. Lol really! Get a life!!

I have 3.7 i5 and for me it’s has enough power,especially untill 50 mph it has an excellent torque,and on highway I like its engine sound at higher rpm..gas consumption is really ok for me.i drive 70 mph on highway with cruise control and i feel ok)

Could you possible do a Bonneville GXP or a 1992 Seville if you come across them. Both pretty rare the '92 only had the good engine in the sts form for 1 year and the GXP even I've only seen it in pictures.

I have to be honest, the real Hummer was the H1 Alpha. I appreciated what Hummer brought when the H2 and H3 was presented, but wasn't really Hummers. If the company made the H4 and cut the H3 from production (or moved it to a different country where it's most popular) before getting liquidated, they would have had a chance to survive. When I make more money, I would definitely by the H1 in a heartbeat. The H3 was pretty much the off-road SUV version of the Chevy Colorado.

It would be awesome if GM released a Jeep Wrangler competitor under the Hummer name plate. The only problem I can see is GM having to make it smaller which may go against the Hummer nameplate.
