After watching this I trusted my instinct and bought one last week. Mine is 20yrs old with 150k and it's surprisingly quiet on rough roads. My steering isn't loose my body doesn't roll and as a non City dweller who lives off dirt roads, I found it's the best riding vehicle I've ever been in. It's very comfortable and feels like a pillow on rough roads at 50 miles an hour. It is a bit ridiculous for City people though. I pulled a semi truck and trailer off of a four-by-four only road yesterday. A Jeep showed up and turned around because he didn't knew he didn't have a prayer pulling a semi. These things are like a Jeep but for men. I get all the quirky things and the cheap gm stuff but for performance and reliability this thing is serious. By the way I'm getting 13 MPGs in the city.
@Zihark_6 ай бұрын
Exactly!! I used to have an SUT and I'm looking at an H2 now. Basically a bigger cozier more powerful jeep. Who cares if they're obnoxious, that's half the fun. 😂

I spent a few months researching the 2017 cars and trucks to decide which to buy. I knew I was going to buy something, but I had to wait for an investment check to come through so I figured why not use the time to be sure what I wanted and be happy with the purchase. HANDS DOWN the H2 RANKED LAST in every review I looked at. The warranty claims were TWO per automobile! (As compared to one in ten thousand for the Camry.) Sadly, Land Rover did really bad as well. I saw an H2 that was lifted and boy did the engine sound awesome these vehicles get 500,000 miles and that is really reliable that's if you keep maintenance and of course enjoy the hefty belt Hummer because it weighs between 6500 and 8500 lb and that is a really good connection to the Earth and great traction it being so heavy and getting through a lot of rough terrain. I really like this vehicle and the reason it gets 11 miles to the gallon is because it's so heavy they're just isn't anything that much heavier than this and it's got some nice curves the way it's laid out and it just looks very intimidating and a really good machine to drive off road. Thanks for the review I might buy one of these.

I live in ireland and I just recently bought a 2003 H2 I've wanted on since I seen a white one in Spain in 2003,there was never many in ireland when they were new the most sold in ireland was in 2006 (when the banks were just giving money to any tom,dick or Harry) only 16 sold here that year and each costing €120,000 with the option to convert it to RHD for €15,000 but no one ever did I belive there to be only 4 or 5 H2s left in ireland,and maybe 3 H1s,I love my one and would never sell it its such an unusual vehicle here in ireland everyone loves it and us being such a little island most people here have never seen one in there life,so to me there very special 😁

Cody Baker your sentence structure is a bit incoherent. So I'll try to Cypher through your trash grammar... Not sure what you don't get about my statement. It's simply put so that a five years old could understand it. Not sure where you live or come from, but I live in a very progressive area of the US where saving your money to buy things outright isn't frowned upon. If you want to overpay for your things by paying lenders, then be a stupid ass for the duration of your life, but you could achieve that without being an asshole to ppl who have their financial house in order. Samuelfish I've done that plenty this morning anyways. It's a good way to wake my boyfriend up, I have to say. Also, my dad is quite proud of me for finding someone who makes me happy and I'm prepared to call a life partner. I'll admit he was a bit hesitant at first, but he's warmed up to him. That being said, I don't feel comfortable discussing mature subjects with someone who, judging from your language and grammar usage, I assume is 12 years old. So yeah, can steer a conversation to recommending you a car from Fisher Price you might like to drive?

One of my neighbors as a kid, who was my dad’s friend had one of these in early 2000’s. He used to drive the absolute piss out of this, driving it everywhere and as kids, we loved riding in it because it was high up off the ground, you saw them in the movies and had a nice rumble to the exhaust. I remember he floored it every time he accelerated and had to get it serviced so many times. They also had a viper, old 60’s corvette and some other cool stuff. Ahh the mid 2000’s, pre-2008 were some wild times.
I'm waiting for the 10 min. version. Either that or a remix.

I have owned my h2 since 2006 and after 12 years it has been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned and had basically no problems. Mine does not rattle like the one you drove and the seats are very comfortable even after a 17 hour straight drive from FL to MD. It is wide and so you can’t park in small lots. It is also tall and I took off the racks so I could fit in parking garages and my garage. The handles on the hood are what you grab to pull the hood up after you unlatch the side clamps. Honestly unless you own one and have experienced the long lasting durability, well your view is only limited to the short rental time.

Regarding the rim design and the tire inflation system on the H1: I don’t think it’s a bad thing. It’s a cool throwback to the original Hummer and I believe if any other car had something similar, Doug would like it and commend it. It’s not like a fake vent, intake or exhaust, it’s not supposed to make anyone think “oh look, that H2 has a central tire inflation system” and nobody even would (most people probably don’t know the story of it anyways). All in all, I think it’s a nice throwback and I like the way it looks

I would have to disagree. Roomy, comfortable, very capable off road. I can drive 8 hours comfortably on the highway to coastal Carolina, and right out onto the beach with out airing down, with 4 people and all our gear. I can tow a trailer, go hunting or fishing and I never worry about big snows or heavy flooding, both of which I have dealt with. Mileage really isn't as bad as everyone says. It's obviously not an economy car, but I have a friend with a brand new 2500 series chevy pickup, and he gets about 1 MPG better, and thats a 2022 vs. 2005. It takes x amount of energy to get a heavy box down the highway. There is isn't much of anything out there even today that offers the combo of space, comfort, and capability. Parts and service are available and not expensive. My only lament is that GM never put the Duramax in it. That would have been ideal. Unfortunately it's a very expensive swap and really not worth it.
