I just got a H3, traded in a '08 Wrangler Unlimited 4 door. The H3 far exceeds the jeep in every aspect...with it absolutely killing it in interior fit and finish. This truck is in a league of its own and I can't wait for my new tires to get put on so I can really test this thing out.

Just got my 06 used Hummer from a Denver Dealership. Drove it back home over several Mountain Pass, climbing in elevation all the way home to the High Country. Although it doesn't have that instant power when overtaking slower vehicles going up the Pass, it compensates when it glides down the steep mountains, hugging the curves with ease and speed. Can't wait to see how it handles the freezing cold Winter and icy roads. For now it's out to the back country to test it's capability in the dry hot Summer conditions. Fun times !!

More then enough power, especially torque! Ride & handling is Awesome. Visibility is better then in my wifes Toyota minivan. Offroad, It is a Beast!! It is top 3 in the best offroad vehicles stock from the MFG with several Mags and agencies. better then Honda, Toyota & Nissan! If u dont like it u havent driven it!

I used to use my buddies H3 to move some things when I would move from locations. One thing that was awful on these things is the gas consumption. It was just awful. No matter what anyone says ... this thing was ok to drive but honestly their was nothing good about it when it came to gas. Idk how people can enjoy filling this thing up. 🤷🏽
@BMWX5alpine11 жыл бұрын
yea, as a matter of fact I do. they're more expensive because there obviously better. When my mother sold her h3, I talked her into buying an 01 x5 3.0i. She then started asking why she didn't have the x5 in the first place because it felt much safer, more solid, the engine hummed along at 80mph without screaming like the hummers POS I5 did. The x5 could also actually take a corner at speed without fear of it rolling. The BMW's engine was smoother at redline than the hummers I5 at 1500.

H3 gets about the same gas mileage as a Wrangler Rubicon. It may be 1 mile/gallon lower, but it's actually very similar. The H3 also 0-60s faster then a Rubicon, even with the Atlas. So I never understood the whole "JEEP IS BETTER! H3's SLOW AND A GAS GUZZLER", when you really compare the facts.

14/18mpg, which is actually not bad for a full-sized SUV. Especially when you compare it to a Rubicon, which is tiny and weighs next to nothing and they still only get 16/19mpg.. Top Gear once said it well. "It's not what you drive, it's how you drive it." When their M3 got better gas mileage around their track then a Prius.
