It is a seven speed automatic transmission also known as 7G-Tronic. Also 4Matic refers to the differential not to the transmission. All in all great walk around of the vehicle

Have had our 320cdi 2 years 190k. I Have been doing all the 100k maintenance PM. And damn these merc parts add up quick! We love the car but shit it’s quite expensive just trying to get this car all 💯 again. Almost done with all the little fixes now but I’m over buying the overpriced parts lol. It’s Honestly a really great car if you can afford it but make sure you have 8-12k to buy one and then another 1-5k for future maintenance. And that’s if you diy or you have mechanic that’s affordable and willing. But it’s a beautiful, powerhouse that gets incredible mpgs. I’ve got 26.5 on 200 mile drive going around 60-70mph, that’s pretty dam good for a full sized suv. If only diesel fuel was cheap like it used to be...

My 2005 e320cdi however, Is incredible. 325k miles. Very little maintenance. Best diesel Mercedes ever made I would argue (2005-2006) e320cdi

I can get 45mpgs and go 900 miles if I cruise between 65-70. 40mpgs 70-80. 38mpgs at 80mph. 36 at 90mph. With tons of passing power on demand.

there is no GL 320 Gasoline!!!!!!!! this model only came as 450, 550 in Gasoline and 320 CDI
