Love the vids man. I have this near exact set up but chrome. I do have an intake manifold upgrade with motion charge plates, and dual throttle body, msd coil packs, larger injectors. It had a dyno of 523 rwhp and 448 trq

how much extra hp does the headers add? 3-5hp? im about to install the ho upgrade kit to my throwback. working with a stock motor with the addition of charge motion deletes and was wondering if this would be a in the ball park estimate on what hp ill end up with

Hi if you are trying to match up your mods with other cars check out this play list link. You will find a lot of those kits on the dyno with cams/headers. What most people do not know is the V3 and 1200 are 100% the exact same supercharger. Different cases and logo. Paxton/Vortech merged many years ago and they are in the same building. This kit is around 10 psi.

Can a B326 stage III engine make 420+ HP with full bolt on's without a supercharger or turbo?

It would still be tough. You would need absolute minimal drivetrain loss, huge cams, etc... and every bolt on part. We have seen over 400 rwhp dynojet SAE manual trans but on very few cars and they were race ready with super light drivetrain and wheels.

I would say you don't even need too go into the motor too hit over 500+ that stock intake mani and TB should be next mods done too hit that 525-530whp ballpark #'s

On non HO they are the exact same head unit with different logo's. On the HO kit Vortech uses the smaller 1200, and the Paxton HO gets the Novi 2200 which is a better supercharger as in higher HP capability if you go to turn it up.

Is non intercooler less safer for the engine then inter cooled ?

i think in the tune he has designed it to once iat reaches 150f the pcm begins to pull timing (reduce power) to avoid detonation... im running v3 non ic and its my daily so unless i was on the track or drag strip its not noticeable... i only experience high iat in heavy stop and go traffic when cruising at 55mph it runs around 114 sometimes higher sometimes lower

Is the v3 and novi 2200 comparable? Is the v3 liquid cooled intercooler better than the novi 2200 set up ?

On a stock engine they are comparable. BUT, the Novi 2200 is larger and can make more power than a V3 on a built engine. As for as a V3 liquid cooled better... no I would call them the same for a stock engine set up.

This car with 3.73 rear gears at about 6500-6800 rpm in 4th is 130 -138 MPH on the dyno.
