2009 - 2012 Ram Fourth Gen Tow Mirror Upgrade With AlfaOBD Programming.

Hello All
In this video we add tow mirrors to our 2012 Ram 1500. These mirrors also allow us to add turn signal/puddle lamps. We add the mirrors and update the settings in the Central Gateway Module with AlfaOBD.

I have a 2012 and would like to add these mirrors w/power folding but can't find the door switch with power fold switch. Any suggestions. Thank you.

I have a 2018 ram 1500, will i need to change Settings in alpha obd to use a mirror with puddle lights and turn signals?

Hello, yes you will need to enable the settings, if your current factory mirrors do not currently have turn or puddle lights.

I got the same tow mirrors, and mine is a 2009 ram 1500. The running light is on but the turn signals and the puddle light are not. Do I still have to go into the configuration to change it?

Hello, thanks for the comment. If your original mirrors did not have turns or puddles, then yes they will need to be enabled in order for the door control module to use them.
