I can't believe that a bad tire would put the motor in limp mode, I'm glad that you got it fixed. Awesome video brother 😎

Awesome information you figured out, I’ll keep that in my arsenal, I was a mechanic professionally until I retired from it, now everyone wants information on them, Thanks 😎

Yeah, it's definitely something good to know. It's kind of crazy, but I understand why it does what it does.

My ford f350 dually would show the same esc light and also the hill assist light and traction control when I had a bad front tire or needed brakes. Glad you got it figured out!!!

These newer cars and trucks are to smart for there own good. Did you get my message about placing an FMS order with your affiliate link, if not I ordered the new Cessna 182 plane
@ezboyrc5537 ай бұрын
I have not. Thank you for letting me know.
@ezboyrc5537 ай бұрын
Anyway, you could give me your order number because it did not show up. And my buddy with f m s can just manually put it on my affiliate link.

Nice video good news for the wife. Too bad you didn’t have the alignment done. Amazing initially I thought you were talking about the 70’s Malibu but I would have questioned the 225,000 miles:) You should replace all the tires and get an alignment!

We just got new front tires. The back ones were fine. My 76 Malibu only has 114.000. I've been driving it all week.

Today must have been the day for car problems.... My wife's 2020 Kia decided to stall out a few times on her, I am almost positive it had some bad gas from the station up the road. So I cleaned the fuel system and filled it up with some gas and hopefully that solved the problem. I drove it for about 20 or so miles afterwards and no more stalls. Even when it did it at first it would crank right back up, was the damnedest thing...

Could have been water in the gas.

My exes acadia would go completely nuts when a wheel bearing or wheel speed sensor would go bad. Dash lit up, abs activating when you barely touch the brake, engine going crazy when you give it gas. It was almost impossible to drive.oddly enough, my coworkers snap on scan tool would only tell me bad sensor/ wheel bearing. My foxwell scan tool actually told me which wheel. I ended up making a bit for an air hammer to beat the old bearing out without damaging the bolts.

I know what you mean. Sensors are the biggest headache of a newer car. Twenty sensors can have the same symptoms. That you have to narrow down. Lol
@aaadamt9647 ай бұрын
@@ezboyrc553 exactly. I have 2 scan tools. I mentioned my coworkers snap on not telling me what sensor in that case. We had one with an airbag light (seat belt deployed). One of mine gave me the weight of the tools sitting on the driver's seat but no code. The other told me there was an airbag code. His said driver's side deployment or something. The seat belt was obviously deployed. I'm not questioning your skill level but when the buckle is extended and the belt won't retract, the pile of seatbelt on the seat is pretty obvious it deployed. Haha. I haven't had a reason to need to know there's 1.96343 grams sitting on the driver's seat.

She's running good now.The bad tire was putting the car in limp mode. The only problem now is the exhaust is leaking bad. When I run it in manual mode, it sounds like i'm running on a dirt racetrack. Lol

Nope, everything was fine. Once I changed the tire, the computer told the car to run right, and it ran perfectly ever since. There was a safety feature, putting it into limp mode because of the bad tire.

First lesson: Don't buy a car with over 257,000 miles on it. Also, what is a Cadillac converter?
@ezboyrc55329 күн бұрын
Catalytic converter. It is part of the exhaust system that filters out carbon. Unfortunately, not everybody can afford perfect cars with low mileage. Of course, when cars are taken, care of mileage is not that big a deal. My truck has over 306,000 miles and still runs great. & my 1976, Chevelle Malibu is the same age as me. 48 years old and runs like a brand new car. And I can barely get up in the morning. Lol
