I went through this a while ago as well. Changed air filters and got low boost code and MAF codes. All you have to do is reset the air filters with DAS. But even if the MAF sensors were dirty, all you would have to do is spray a lot of MAF cleaner through the left and right sides of that Y pipe to clean them. That usually does the trick. But whenever you change air filters, always perform a reset with DAS.

Well just to give an update, costumer pick up the car today, after lunch he send me a great text message saying that he had never felt the car this way power wise. So he is happy and car runs like new again.

Nice fix Maic especially working with the customer to let them know about their car and showing you are trying to save them the cost of new converters & DPF filter...builds good customer relations. HAHA it'll run better now that it can breathe thru the intake & exhaust. Lots of problems that add up reduced performance. Great video Maic!

Fascinating stuff, great watch, factory tools are the way to go although the autel had a lot of good options as well, good point about resetting adaptions, I would have been tearing my hair out when maf code appeared but u kept in diagnostic mode well done! That MAF sensor must be a frequency type like ford impossible to interpret! One thing I learned about dpf from a snap on training session is that ash can not be removed during regeneration only soot can, but still 42% ash is a good figure for car with 100k + cheers sandy

sandy anderson thx for your comment. Yes 42% is still fine. And now after final regen the load content went to 4%. That is a huge change. Vehicle is driven like new.

Code P2359 . 2008 e320 3.0 turbo diesel . Check charge system to low boost pressure . I need help brother . So I noticed a faulty mass airflow sensor (it has 2) . I think it might be my problem . But ... only one of my dpf sensors (it has 2) and my exhaust back pressure sensor are not reading any psi pressure (0) could it be cause of the faulty maf causing to low boost , causing it to shut down the wastegate valve . The turbo is spooling because of the check engine

Maic, what chemicals did you use to clean the cats?

M Barry engine degreaser, hot pressure water and oven to dry. You can use a heat gun but it takes longer, I dry it first with shop air then heat, then inspect with a light to see if cells are clean. This car runs like new.

Don Maic no se si sabe español ...tengo un problema ..no tengo experiencia en bluetec..resulta que removi el turbo. Y lo volvi a instalar. Pero ahora tiene un ruido raro cuando desacelera se oye fuerte la succion ycuando lo para tambien se queda unos segundos el sonido..le cambie tambien la miama manguera que usted muestra en el video..mi pregunta es sera que tengo que hacer un re aprendizaje al turbo gracias por su respueata

No es necesario aprendizaje para el turbo. Revisa todas las conexiones es posible que alguna manguera esté floja o mal.

@@MaicSalazarDiagnostics ok revisare ....pero ahora me estan diciendo que el ruido es porque no le eche aceite al turbo...y antes de instalarlo le rebusque y no le encontre por donde....y todo esto de que no le eche aceite salio porque en el kit de gasket viene una jeringa. Y que esa sirve para echarle el aceite...el carro del problema es un ML 166 blutec año2012 gracias por su respuesta

tom yuksel you need to check all the duct from the inter cooler to the turbo first, then check the pressure sensors, air filters clean? Then the turbo.

Just completely remove egr and DPF alltogether. Problems gone forever
