This! This is the kind of video that got me hooked on your channel. Riding bikes and uplifting inspirational dialogue. You are such a breath of fresh air! And it makes me want to go ride my bike. It’s so therapeutic. Thank you Amy! And Kyle!! 💙

I don't know if I would still be smiling and bubbly after 200Km - you're awesome Amy!! 😁Setting small (ish) but realistic goals is the right way to go. That's how I have always organised my fitness and health goals - nothing too ambitious on it's own, but slotted into a bigger program every segment becomes vitally important to the success of the main goal whether it be weight-loss, or average speed, or a distance ride, or a time trial - whatever. You are truly an inspiration for riding long rides on your own, and by taking us along with you, you show many people that even rides which might seem really tough can be fun. btw, try to remember to take some "emergency" energy gels with you. If you miss your cafe stop, or feel your energy levels dropping earier than you thought they would you can slurf a gel or two, and that will keep you energised for a good stretch until you get to somewhere you can refuel properly. Keep the vids coming, I love them. Can't wait till the next one. TTFN.🚴♀

Nothing taught me gratitude like those long, hard rides. Much more so in winter, when a 1000 km ride that would be easy in summer becomes a very hard ride. Experience the cold, wind, rain, hunger and nowhere warm to sleep and the ever ticking clock that means you must keep moving and have little time to rest if you want to complete the ride in time. You're grateful for those few crumbs of comfort that you can find and when you finally arrive home, life is great because you have food, shelter and a warm bed. Even if I failed the ride. I won't have given in lightly or without good reason. The gratitude is immense!

I can't get my head around you needing something substantial with a sausage roll in your pocket, I know what I would have done :D But a really great video and most importantly: Your mood is so infectious when you talk about how much you're enjoying it that it is honestly a big help. I haven't had a good day mentally and wasn't able to get outside at all today, so I am just vicariously loving your ride with you, it all helps a little bit :)

That looked like a great ride Amy, great effort doing it on your own with no windbreaking from Kyle😉I also love cycling on my own, you can do what you like and go at your own pace😊I had 2 awesome rides this week, 100 miles on Monday and 57 today and both in lovely sunshine😁 which doesn't happen often in Scotland😂10000ft of climbing between the 2 also so I got a good workout👍

Agree that these are the videos that work best for you. But the recent podcast was quite remarkable and the jollies vids are just part of following you. That said, they have exposed Kyle to some odd criticism, in my opinion. People might have noticed that at the jollies most people were having a drink. Most of us have surely done the same? Maybe not but I'd have done the same Kyle. Anyway a nice relaxing vid I think, and watching you crush 128 miles with a smile on your face was pretty cool. Enjoy your weekend.

I still don't understand how the heck Kyle manages to destroy his cleats so quickly. I know you both ride a _lot_ but something doesn't seem right. 🤔
@redauwg911Күн бұрын
Generally, cleats should be replaced after 3000 miles or so, or immediately if you see adverse wear or damage to them, or notice issues with shoe stability with the pedal. In most cases, especially with the best cleat brands, your cleats will come with wear indicators to help you decide when to change them.
