*200TH UPLOAD!!* PT 3: REDO Journey on Route 298 | Scania OmniCity | LX10AUC/SB DS54 | 20th Apr 2024

This third episode of the series came out to me my 200th upload which is nice to reflect back on how well the channel is, and thank you all for subscribing, and keeping the channel flowing, anyways here we go with the episode!!! In a way though, it’s not really new because I have done a full journey on this route before, and I have uploaded it to KZbin. The reason I’ve done the route again is because there is a range of buses on this route, and this is the main bus route all these buses go on. There will even be another 298 full journey in the upcoming series, but that’s a different type of Enviro 400 and it’s the top 5 oldest double deckers running in london I assume, as this bus is from 2008. Moving onto this series though, it was really great at for sure will go onto top 10 best route/journey experiences, even though I say that a lot anyway, so I might start saying it’s one of my favourites or something like that, with series that I’ll upload in the future. Firstly as it says in the title, the interior is very interesting as I can see this bus has served as former Stagecoach company in the past, as I see the old Stagecoach livery/moquette on most of the seats, which was cool, but also there was a few unrefurbished/old RATP group seats as well, which was very weird because this bus has never served as running for RATP group ever, but it was a nice surprise anyway, and as the rear bottom seats on the left are my favourite on a Scania OmniCity, I could straightaway also see that one of the seats was duct taped, which was very interesting as I have never really seen something much like that before, but overall interior seating was very, very interesting on this bus. Secondly, it was very nice because I recorded this trip a bit later in the day than normal, so the sunset just started to occur which made the route a lot more beautiful to ride on, as I got nice sunset vibes which made the experience even better than normal. Thirdly, the bus driver was great, and for sure the best OmniCity driver I have had so far, but it’s very common to find fast drivers on bus routes that have a lot of quiet and countryside roads, which is another great factor. Obviously like I’ve mentioned in the last time I have done this route, it is very nice regardless, so look back in my other 298 full journey series on my channel, or check out the series I will upload after this one, after this series is finished.
