I wholeheartedly agree! It is really hard to find the Gen 1 videos in my suggestions anymore. If I want to see one I have to do a search and then it isn't always a Gen 1 that comes up.

My Gen 1 SVT came with the Icon suspension when I got it used from the dealership. The person that had it out in Colorado is the one responsible for that I assume. I've not gotten the chance to take my Raptor out in the desert setting as yet, but I do live in the country in Kentucky, so I get to see what it is like on back roads, because my driveway is pretty much similar to the paths in the woods that you sometimes see people do with the Raptor Runs up in Michigan that they drive on. I hate that I couldn't compare the two systems to decide for myself, but I have to say I am pleased with the performance of Icon. It is a highly regarded brand out in California, and you have to work hard to get a good reputation. I have always heard good things about Icon, and I even researched them myself in order to know more about the brand after the fact. Thanks for giving the review, and I second the sentiment about reviews on Gen 1's. I love all the Raptors, but my heart is with the Gen 1, always has been. Mine is a 2010, and I wouldn't trade it for a new one, because that's the body style that I wanted to begin with.

In the very long run the Gen 2, while gen 1 is beautiful Gen 2 has many upgrades and creature comforts that in the future will be common for even base model trucks.

@@stage3motorsports no V8 thou. With the future coming gen 1 will be more sought after for its v8 6.2. Everything else is more easily acquirable.

@@hotshotlue there is a Raptor R purported to be coming out soon, they say it will have that V8 engine in it. They want to try and overtake the Ram 1500 TRX in the market. ( and yes, it isn't called a T Rex-TRX, but people refer to it as that sometimes, due to the correlation between dinosaur references due to the Raptor being extremely popular, sometimes you can even find a T Rex head on the graphics for the Ram 1500's. My money will always be on the Raptor though)
