Happened to me a long time ago when on my 250, but I learnt from it. Not saying it'll never happen again just that I look for it now, same with gravel. If I see a film on the road I slow right down and or avoid it. The trouble is, as all you bikers will know, you cannot see or predict everything. I noticed the guy in front of him took a wider line and so missed the worst of the slick and wasn't leaning quite so much, lucky or he saw it.
