This system has a more aggressive sound than the deeper rumble of the S Type system. When I had my Camaro SS, I ended up getting the Flowmaster Outlaw exhaust which is very comparable to this Atak system. Flowmaster also has the American Thunder which is deep like the Borla S Type. Both systems sound great, it all depends if you want that aggressive sound or a very deep rumble note for your exhaust.

Great video. I had this axel back and loved it in my 2010 ss . However I switched to a magnaflow after long tube headers because it was insanely loud at high revs. Must be this is for stock header/manifold cars. Sounds good!

sounds good, i've seen that the atak catback sounds raspy and i don't like it at all, but this axle back sounds deep and better. Thumps up for you my man.

Wow, it's even deeper than this? I was just going to type that this is one of the deepest sounding exhaust systems I've ever heard on any car, much less the Camaro. I wouldn't want it any deeper than this, but that's just me.

But it sounds different, and functions differently, that's what they're selling you don't have to buy it. I prefer the less aggressive Type-S but I think they're both good, and completely different.

I was debating the Atak or the S Type but I think I'll pursue the S Type because it has a deeper exhaust note which is what a 6.2 should sound like.

Are these round ones quieter than the oval ataks? I can’t get a firm grasp on the volume output on these mufflers because it sounds different on literally everything. I’ve heard some atak that are as quiet as the touring on video.

how did you get the xpipe to not scrape the ground? i think my xpipe is too low to the ground i couldnt even get the plate that goes under the exhaust to clear enough to get back on

Hi, I noticed in a video installation of an axle back exhaust (not borla though) the guy sawed off the both portions of each side to slip on the new axle backs. Is that the same method with the borla? Did you have to get a small rotary saw to saw off the stock pipes?
