Brilliant! Thanks for doing this video..AND doing it RIGHT. I've watched about 6 other videos before this one where people are hanging the calipers by the brake lines, don't (re)grease the sliding pins, etc. THANK YOU for showing the proper way to do this!

Engine mounts suck on that year but got to love them. I see people all the time under a car with just the jack, crazy. A joy as always Hector,

Is it okay to push the fluid back up into the master cylinder
@NoneMechanic101 Жыл бұрын
When the caliper pistons are pushed in the fluid in the line goes up.
@john-bl9cm Жыл бұрын
yes will that fluid then hurt the master cylinder?

Do you do all of the brakes first before you do the compression or can you do that same process for every one?
@NoneMechanic101 Жыл бұрын
I myself do both ways. I do the front brakes and the compressed them. Then I do the rear brakes and then compressed them

might be a dumb question but at the end when you say you’re gonna press it to make it feel right are you pressing on the brake pedal inside the car?

You can compress the caliper completely with a screwdriver. Just need a large flathead and a little elbow grease. Saves you a step.
