2010 Mustang Cobra Jet

In 2008 Ford started selling purpose built race cars...or bodies in white if you will...this is a 2010 Cobra Jet Mustang...but the owner wants to race it as a 2012 so it has the new Coyote 5.0 Motor in it...very cool car...ck it out!!

It a "Body in White" FRPP race car chassis, it doesn't have a VIN only a serial number. He is running a FRPP Coyote Crate motor in it and HUGE Comps with cam phaser blocks, LT headers, CAI and an Aggressive tune he could be making close to 500 at the crank. JPC is running a 9.95 with a sealed Coyote crate motor. Stock cams, CAI and headers with a race fuel tune. The car has SERIOUS weight reduction and traction though. This guy here has to be in the 10s at least.

Actually...they only come in one color...you paint them after you get it to any color you want...and than it is up to you to if you put the sticker on it...these are not street legal...for off road use only...thanks again for cking out my videos

Okay I know the car isn't street legal but how would the cops know? Take the drag radials off and put on some regular tires and couldn't you just drive it like a normal mustang? Shit if I spent 100k on a car you best believe it's gonna be on the road ;)

You can't take the title to the DMV and get a plate for it. So you would have to find another similar mustang's plate and put it on, and risk getting it impounded when you get pulled over.

Oh wow, so this is what they call a "body in white" car (they actually come in a brownish green primer) and he is running a Coyote crate motor. One thing that I saw was that he must have cam phaser defeat blocks on it for those super aggressive cams. The plugs for cam phasers on the valve covers weren't plugged in to the wires that go to computer.Thats pretty much the only way he can use cams like that in the motor because the variation would let the valves hit the pistons. That car is flat out phenomenal! The only thing I'm surprised at is how little power it's making, yet it's chirping 10.50's?! That's some major weight reduction and grabbing that track and never letting go! I've always gotten comments on how viscous my Roush sounds. Nothing like this though. Time to upgrade the cam!
