Seems to work ok if you have less then 1k songs, my ipod touch has about 6k songs and it is very slow at browsing or switching songs. The is no information displayed, except for what number is currently selected. i.e.4/6038. It is easier to unplug the ipod, select the playlist or song I want, then plug it back in, which kinda defeats the purpose of having the connection.

The only time my Car says error 5 is when my phone is already connected to the Bluetooth, or, I’ll finally get it to do usb iPod and then a few minutes into the drive it reconnects to Bluetooth if I only disconnect instead of turning it all the way off then it says error 5. If I keep Bluetooth off it always comes on fine without the dreaded error 5 lol😂 I also recommend a cord that is high speed data compatible, it really does make a difference in how fast the next song pops up. I kind of prefer the iPod usb cord over Bluetooth because it shows more stuff and I don’t have to pull my phone out and deal with the music app since it’s all right there. Hopefully that solves it!! Maybe over the past year you’ve figured it out already 😂 took me a longgg time to even find the USB port down there, I just watched a video on how to pair the Bluetooth and never thought much more about it. But I really really do prefer the corded iPod USB cause there’s so much more on that tiny little screen.
