How did you go about separating the engine from the transmission? What steps did you follow and was it hard to separate?

Nothing too complicated there. Like any other automatic transmission, you need to unbolt the torque converter from the flexplate, as discussed in my video. Then, unbolt the engine from the transmission (you can see the bolt holes in the transmission in the video). If it seems stuck or hesitant to come apart, it may be corroded or stuck on the dowel pins. Just carefully pry or wiggle until they separate. Also, be sure to remove the harmonic balancer bolt before you remove the engine. It will help with clearance as you lift the engine from the car.

I have a 2013 Hyundai sonata with a 2.4 GDI ENGINE, WHAT OTHER ENGINE FROM OTHER CARS CAN I USE..I NEED YOUR HELP

Should be 2011-2014 Sonatas, with the eight digit of the VIN number being a “C”. Check to make sure that’s what your car is too, a VIN code C engine.

Made this seem like a breeze

It was. I’ve done so many engine replacements over the years and this particular one was a pleasure to do, in the grand scheme of things.

I really want to learn this stuff, I’m in a trade school to become an aircraft mechanic but I also want to learn how to work on cars

It will come to you, for sure. The key is to understand the theory of operation behind everything, and combine that with experience. I can’t emphasize that enough - knowing the “why” behind everything will allow you to repair anything. Never be so arrogant to think you know everything, as this inhibits your ability to learn more. Try to do as much as you can on your own car, and consider picking up a project car to work on the side.
