12,2 liter consumption seems here with this vehicle small one in compare to other smaller vehicles but higher consumption

Wow. I thought that the 2.4 liter four-banger completely lacks the power needed to move this heavy chassis, and that you gotta get the V6 or the diesel no matter what. It seems like this is not the case; if you rev it a little, this engine gets the job done too. The tranny also seems to have surprisingly long gears; it sits at 120 km/h fairly comfortably reving not more than 3,000 rpm. Nevertheless, if someone considers towing heavy loads with the Santa Fe, the V6 (not sure if it was available on the EU market) or the diesel really are needed.
