@@gods1hell1spawn10011 this was the only issue I had. I suggest checking all the wires you disconnected and make sure they are making good contact. Id also check the fuses. If you didn't disconnect the battery, you might have caused a short. Good luck.

I used a OBD II scanner to determine my seat occupancy sensor went bad. Everything I read said the dealer would charge over $5k to replace the entire seat. I found this company called Airbag360 that makes an emulator module that plugs in under the passenger seat to alleviate the problem. Only issue is that the airbag will always inflate in an accident so the feature that disables the passenger airbag no longer works so just be sure not to place a small child in the front passenger seat but you shouldn't do that anyway. Not doing anything would mean the passenger seat airbag is disabled even if an adult is sitting in it which is a definite No No.

I tried this method yesterday did not work for my 2012 G37X Sport Sedan unless I did it wrong. So this is what happens with the air bag light: flashes 7 times, turns off for two seconds, turns back on for two seconds, turns off for two seconds then flashes 7 times again continuously repeating itself. I was told to REPLACE AIRBAG CONTROL UNIT. Any ideas?

I tired this and my light went out for a day and was back on the follow day. I had a dead battery and got it boosted by a tow company. not sure if that caused it.. Put a new battery in and light comes back NOT solid but flashes
