2011 Kia Sorento Front Struts

What noise was it making. I've got a 12 plate sorento that's clunking loudly on uneven surface and bumps. I can also feel every bump its not a smooth ride at all.

Dont'e remember exactly what noise it was making, but a clunking coming from the strut is probably a worn out mount at the top of the strut.

I was doing this today and the bottom bolt on the strut mount got stripped. I have an idea for getting it out but advice on that would be great. But my main question was if you knew what kind of bolt that is so I can get a replacement for it once I get it out of there.

Don't know off the top of my head. Best bet is to either search online for the strut bolt or go to the Hyundai dealer (take your vin) and get a replacement.

My kia Soul did same thing they must get lose over time the coil spring 3:56 the half shaft need to get changed also there's slope in it 5:38

I learned from those complete assembl struts rides like crap I didn’t it twice and had to go buy the original kia struts used complete with spring and everything went back to nice ride

@@djnavi1051 It's not my car so I can't say specifically, but compare equal products locally to rockauto. Almost always, for the same product, rockauto will be less cost even getting them shipped.
