so i just installed this very happy with it so far. Did a air delete on my 2017 ram rebel. Couple things too note tho. I didn't have a stubby or torch to bend a wrench. so i just cut one of my 21mm to get that top nut for the rear shock off. Also i don't know if people noticed but if you look at the after pictures you can see the back is sagging down a bit like its not level...but i lucked out because i ordered a bilstein rear coils with a 1in lift. i didn't notice until i received in mail. But apparently the stock oem rear coils arent that great so if you want that nice level look i suggest shopping for those 1in lifted coils. Also in the video he didn't add the coil isolator on the spacers in the rear you need those also if you have coil compressor makes it alot easier to install. Had no issues with break lines as i was replacing rotors/ break pads and installing new calipers so they were just hanging on hook on frame out the way. 18'in aftermarket rims 275/70 tires

You don't have to have any special tools. I did it with a medium sized socket wrench on the back nut. Driver side is a little more difficult due to tubing in the way. This is doable without a crows foot wrench!

Installing this kit this morning! The upper control arms get torque when the full weight of the vehicle is on the ground I did this while up in the air and when set my truck it popped the bushings out of the a arm.

The struts sit way bigger than my puck spacers I’m gonna have to order some of those

Just pull the entire knuckle off, makes it waaay easier to get that strut in place. Save your CV axle boot and also then your not putting pressure on the break line when prying.

Hmm, I don't get why the side views make the truck look like it has a reverse rake (aka, squat)... It's a 3" lift up front, and a ~2.5" lift on back... That should mean that the front would only go up ~0.5" compared to the back... But don't Rams also come with a factory rake, like Silverados and F-150s? If so, then why doesn't the truck look like it has a normal rake in the side picutres (and in the distance between the tire and the fenders)...

New struts have a break in period, it will settle down after a few hundred miles

It does, for real. I installed this last year and the rear sags. I have airlift bags so that's how I get level or raked that way.

How do you fix the squat? I installed it on my 2 door Rt and it squats in the back. I want it to level out. I’ve driven it for a couple hundred miles and no change or settlement. Should I put a two inch coil lift in the back?

I measured mine. 3 inch kit with forged control arms and loaded shocks. It does sit about 3/4 inch lower in rear. Def not idea. Don't know how thick the pucks are in back....

Why you recommend 33? In 2 inch level kit you test 35s with no control arms, and I have ussues with balljoints all the time, should I get 3 inch control arms? With my 2 inch leveling struts? They told me that solve the problem

Both us at AT and Rough Country recommend 33" tires because they are the largest size that will fit after installing this kit, without ANY rubbing or fitment issues. Once you step up to 35" tires there will be rubbing of some sort, this usually requires trimming or cutting to resolve. If you are having issues with balljoints failing prematurely due to an already installed 2 inch leveling kit, aftermarket upper control arms like the ones shown here will definitely be better for the performance of your truck and prevent premature wear. -Zach

This kit doesn't fit 2WD trucks, but we do have some other lift options for 2WD Ram 1500s of this generation available on our site. If you go on and put in your truck's info, the last question you get asked is whether it's 4WD or 2WD, just select the 2WD option, and it will show you the options we have available! Unfortunately, the selection is just a bit more limited than what's available for the 4WD trucks. -Jake

Mines level,but also changed the rear coil springs to tuff truck variable springs too
