it's nice to see someone actually know what he is doing. Even torqued everything correctly. I kinda questioned why people actually removed the lower control arm and ball joint when you don't have too. No one wants to deal with alignments control arm bolts, of course you'd need an alignment after but giving you have to drive there it's best not to screw with your camber and caster IN my opinion.

I know this is an older video, but I used it to put my lift on this past weekend in my driveway. Question though, if the cv axle comes out when the front end is disconnected because of the extra droop when it’s taken apart, is it still ok once I push it back in and torque everything down to spec? This was me first time doing suspension work, and man you guys make it look so easy lol. Thanks for the video!

COTE Official I ran a 285/70/17 BFG KO2. No rub at all. I also used SPC upper control arms. It’s all about what offset/ backspacing you have on your wheels that determines rub/ no rub

Extreme terrain is a hustle. They sell you product, when it doesn't arrive they claim they can only refund a "store credit" even though you paid with a credit card. Real Truck and Rough Country have served me much better.

You can run these spacer without changing your factory control arms, but if you have room in your budget I highly recommend looking into a set of aftermarket ones to improve your suspension geometry angles. -Zach

Diff drop is not at all necessary, not a significant enough drop to help CV angles. If you really want the peace of mind having straiter CV angles, I recommend the whole diff relocater kit. But that's a whole nother deal.

@@darwinc1954 I ended up getting an Ironman Stage 2 lift kit and installing it myself. I watched a ton of videos so I knew what I was getting into. The biggest thing to look for is your CV boot and not letting anything slide out from there. Also, be careful with brake lines, making sure there's not a lot of tension on them as you work around in there. Everything else is simple mechanic stuff, just time-consuming and depending on how old the vehicle is, some stuff could be stuck in position and need a little oomph to get it loose.

There's a good chance that after installing this suspension kit, you will have some minor driveshaft vibrations. Adding one to your list of parts come install day definitely is a good idea.
