2012 CADILLAC CTS No Start No Crank...DIY Diagnosing...Clicks..Solved...

Cts had very few issues. Great daily driver. Drove it most of the day with no issues. Parked it. Came back to start it and it would not Crank. Not even a slow Crank. Just makes a Click sound on each try. Tried to start it at least 15x. Battery was good. Everything else worked fine. Car had full power. Fuses and relays were checked. Ground wires were good.

This happened to my wife's car. I figured it was the starter. I kept turning the key on to start it and I would hear a faint sound of the starter wanting to turn. I kept doing this over several times and it finally started. This might also work for you but it does not mean the problem has been solved. You got your warning from a dying starter. Your next step is to replace the starter ASAP before you get stranded.
