Did you do anything else besides delete the mufflers and change the resonator? Did you increase pipe size of the system or anything? Do you have a part number for the resonator?

The exhuast shop I went to or you can order it online its called "Aero" resonator not the 2525 muffler thats completely different

Sounds awesome, but I require "mufflers" to pass a basically visual inspection. There is hope... I'm thinking of pulling the mufflers, peeling the top open and gutting the mufflers, or possibly running straight pipe through the shells. As long as I can hide my surgical evidence on top where it's not easily seen I should be good.

Believe it or not for the muffler deletes and res delete and welded in new res and straight pipe was only $190 plus ten for the ouece of stainless for my intake

my son as a 2008 impala lt 3.5 and what's it to sound great like yours, but all the great videos for the 3.5 v6 they don't state what exhaust system they used or they just don't respond... mufflers or exhaust system should he get so it gets the a sporty sound and a deep growl

Never delete mufflers or resonator on v6 it sounds like crap. The impala is a gentleman's performance car not a rice burner. Two quality mufflers and a resonator make this car sounds like haven

If you don't mind the horrible sound inside the car. I promise you it's unbearable. Definitely hurt power as well. Loss of back pressure even with the three cats still on. Just creates the illusion it's doing something. Bad for the motor as well.

Back pressure loss is a non-issue on newer cars. This ain't the 80's anymore lol.

The loss of back pressure allows the engine to push out exhaust fumes easier, as well as it provided small power gains actually! Back pressure was a concern on older cars but not newer ones
