Thanks for taking time to share your video and process. I'm following your instructions because they are very clear for me because I do not have special tools, I'm also taking other advices that I read on internet mainly about set EBS into maintenance mode before of changing the brake pads. I also read on internet an advice to remove the liquid brake cap before of doing that.

​@@ijfimyou never mentioned the electric brake service mode, because you had no idea it was on the car, or you would have never needed to take apart the electric parking brake mechanism

I followed the instructions you gave in the video. The only thing the brake light was flashing so i engaged the parking brake and realsed it and everything is normal now. The parking brake went off. THANKS For the Video it helped out alot.👌🤝

there is a maintenance mode procedure from the driver seat (key on, gas pedal, e-brake to off position, key off then back on) to disable the e-brake so you don't have to take it apart. the e-brake will retract in maintenance mode. look up "2016 Ford Fusion Electronic Parking Brake Maintenance Mode Procedure"

If you take the caliper off the bracket first, it's a lot easier to get at the bracket bolts.

No, and the parking brakes were released.

Please stop making videos and giving bad advice, there is no need to take apart the electric parking brake, you should have used the information center on your dash to put the parking brake into maintained mode, takes all if a few seconds.among other mistakes you have made here quote ' ummmm it days 5 on this thing' what will be your next video, home heart surgery?
