2013 Dodge Caravan Evap Leak [P0456 P0455]

In this video you will be watching of how to diagnose and fix a P0455 P0456 evap trouble code for 2013 Dodge Caravan.There's a twist of event in this video because of the location of the evap canister and vent solenoid ..and i end up replacing the EVAP EMISSION LEAK DETECTION PUMP instead of looking for any leak somewhere on the system because of the design and location of those parts..Although im not 100% happy about my diagnostic in here but there's nothing wrong on searching on google for the common evap problem for this car that might help in fixing this kind of issue or code for ur dodge caravan

I just replaced the purge value and my check engine light instantly went off so happy btw you must keep the blue purge value connector piece do not lost it

Did it end up fixing it long term? I mean the fuel trims correcting themselves is a good hint it might have, but I was wondering if it came back? I don't have a smoke machine to test and I am willing to throw a 30$ part to try it.

I've had the 0456 intermittent code. Replaced gas cap with oem new and EVAP canister. I'm excited to try this part because I'm thinking it will resolve this issue. Thank you for this video!

Hey guys, can anyone help out? Im thinking about purchasing a 2013 caravan (3.6litr v6) with a 135KM the van has been owned by one owner, who did regular maintenance on it...i've been reading up on them and everyone has mixed reviews but from what i've read the 2013's have a lot of transmission problems anyone have experience with this? anything else to look out for? I did do a test drive and it seemed fine but I was only going about 50/70 km around the city, I did floor it and didn't notice any stuttering or anything of such , however the owner did say when he puts it in ''ECO MODE'' he notices a slight change with the transmission shifting and that it takes awhile to pick up in speed? something along the lines of that, I didn't really understand that but is that normal? I plan on taking it to an mechanic to get it checked out so hopefully everything will be good! THANK YOU!
