2013 Dodge Charger Transmission Control Module TCM Location and Removal

I have a 2012 dodge charger and I don’t see the TCM located anywhere near where all the videos indicate it Where else could it be I have the sxt version, does it matter

If it has the 5 speed transmission it should be under the dash. If it has the 8 speed, it's inside the transmission, referred to as the transmission control module assembly (TCMA)

I have a 2016 Dodge charger is the TCm located in the same spot as the 2013

as long as it's the 5 speed transmission it should be the same place. the 8 speed control module is in the valve body of the transmission

If I’m buying used one do I need it programmed to my car I’ve read online that if it’s already been programmed to same type vehicle I should be able to just snap new one on ?

Is there a fuse for this TCM? Or is part of the TC fuse location!! Also i repkaced my tcm nd have to say there was noooo reprigraming needed what so ever in any sens if the way just plug n play

@@globaltray srt8 2014 ,,, nd was an issue with shudder in TC but tcm was nit the case

@@Chriselectricfingersmines in limp mode I changed the tcm and it’s still in limp mode with traction control light on I don’t know what it is

@@globaltraycheck ur shifter console shyfter the entire shyfter module , also check ur sensors on speed sensors front nd rear , and ur TPS sensor , but most likley could be ur shyfter console module entire module change that see if it takes out limp ,, also check codes see what you gee. Nd search codes
