You aren't showing the complete graph, which tells us the truth of the upgrade. The intake manifold upgrade put torque and power where the prior intake was lacking....forget about the overall gain and focus on the increase power through the rpm range. I am sure the lower to mid-grange power and torque increase is very nice, especially for a daily driver. The lockouts might be hurting your lower torque but overall very nice upgrade and beautiful car.

Great video.. I have a complete Cobra jet set up for my 2014 5.0 with vmp twinjet 67mm throttle body but I didn't get the stage 3 comp cams to go with it. Would it still be better than the 18 manifold ported or should I sell and get the 18? Thanks 🇺🇸

Cobra jet is king and someday their going to be rare I would keep it and get it ported and a ported 18 wouldn’t even compare

Do you need an adapter for a charge pipe or cold intake? because 18's mani TB sits higher.
@strangedemon3 жыл бұрын
Depends on which cold air kit you are using. The AFM Power Pipe you get enough angle where you don't need a different coupler. Other intake kits you may have to.

Why is it on VMP 2018+ install video for the 11-14 mustangs they install the brake booster line on the PASSENGER side port?? And they connect the evap with 2 connections to the driver side port of the manifold and you’re doing the opposite? I’ve tried each side I’m getting a check engine light for the evap and I have a 2011 6 speed coyote. I also changed the evap connector with a brand new one as well with no luck. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWTFemiabdp6q68 Skip to 18:10 min

It doesn't matter which one as they are both vacuum ports. Did it this way as the kit came with hose that matched the smaller port and made it easiest on routing the lines.

Waste of time and $500. Name one person who wants their engine to last that run it constantly to 7000 rpm. The massive torque loss below 7000 rpm is a huge price to pay to be in the 400 hp club. Drivability will suffer. PASS.

7k is nothing for the coyote, there are plenty of gen 1's running higher and no problems.

When your racing you’ll be going full WOT and lower end torque will not matter 😂 you want power higher in the rpm range bc that’s were your rpm are going to stay at . Lower end torque is fun just to drive around and haul ass
