Hi Phil - I received my rev 2 harness and was initially confused by the connector - however found this video and was able to complete the install. A note - this was on a 2016 Suburban LTZ, and the method is largely the same, but there's quite a bit more wiring behind the rear console due to the panel on the console. I did find it was easier to pop off the rear console by using a pry tool from the top with the front console lid open.

Phil - wild shot, but since you can kinda view it here - any idea what the connectors are for the back of the 12V outlets used in these trucks? I'd like to make a jumper harness so I can neatly install a second outlet without having to splice and solder within my truck, if at all possible. No worries if you don't know. Thanks!

Hi Phil. Do you still have the stock GM radio in your truck? I noticed on my 2018 GMC sierra, I can turn the radio on with out the key in the ignition, even if the truck has been sitting all day. Wondering if this is normal. You may have to hit the power button a few times or hold it down for a few seconds. Also how can you display the mileage with out the key?

I believe there is a fuse in the driver side panel that is tied to RAP (Retained Accessory Power) where the power is hot for about 15 minutes after removing the key. With the fuse moved to the other optional side, it keeps it on all the time. I remember it being something like that.

Hi Phil. I noticed if I put my truck to accessory position at night with the key, it will turn the parking lights on. Does your truck do this? Of course I can shut them off with the headlight switch, but it seems strange.

So my 2017 Sierra keeps blowing the driver side 10a fuse. Wondering if it involves that wire being pinched on my center console. Do I need to replace that wire harness or can I just unplug that charger since I don’t use it? Thanks in advance!! Super helpful videos!

Very common damage prone spot. I’d check it. GM sells that replacement jumper. Should have a tag on it for the part #.

Also I got just power adjusting mirrors non power fold or turn signal and I want to upgrade to toe mirrors with power fold with turn signal and power adjusting. You should. My understanding is that GM uses the same module 13521066.

The larger mat is only longer and not wider. The issue with the Plus is that it doesn't fit the width of either rubber mats. I've heard/seen from others that it will charge but won't sit flat.

Hey Phil I keep looking at your channel and love it . I have a 2015 Silverado with the dl8 option I have upgraded my truck to the Oem towing mirrors I have purchased the harness that goes with it and they work fine but not I have decided to go back to the dl3 mirror to have the power fold and I bought the oem harness as well but as you explained I did loose the option of moving mirror side to side can you please help I also still have the original harness from the oe dl8 mirrors can you advise please thank you

You will need to swap the module out for Part #13521066 and get my harness adapter. Then it will charge the iPhone 8/X phones.

I am also awaiting the programming of a DVD player to get that integrated, alongside and new 2018 Rear Panel for the center console. The new panel has an HDMI Input. Trying to find all the harnessing and cables to make all the connections.

Ivan Villarreal Windows? No. But if you have Manual adjust mirrors and power windows, I can upgrade the mirrors to power adjust/fold. But you need power windows.
