It almost makes me sad that there are performances like this all over the country, than in most cases only a small number of people get to see and enjoy. But this brings joy for the same reason, that all over this nation, young people of all walks of life, can perform at this level, and bring joy to those watching, and an incredible sense of accomplishment for themselves. This is by far the grandest performance of this song on KZbin! After listening to many professional choirs from metropolitan areas as well as well-reputed university choirs, it's these high schoolers that capture the tone, pitch, movement and JOY in this song. HOLY COW!! The joy is seen in their faces, their movements and most of all in their voices. Congrats especially to the male singers in the opening for not sounding flat or like fog horns!!

Iowa's all-state yearly chorus is no joke. In 2015 they recited my favorite rendition of Baba Yetu, look it up if you liked this one
