Good morning, I hope all Canadian RCR fans has a great Thanksgiving. I remember when the F-Ttpe came out and Jeremy Clarkson's review. I loved the history of its inception. New asphalt, let's go break it in is one of the best driving lines I've ever heard. A forest moonshiner who won the lottery reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Lisa tried to "civilize" Willie.

I've owned a '14 F-Type V8S (later rebadged the R) since 2016. Has about 45,000 miles on it now. Car runs flawlessly, has been nearly bullet-proof and still gets tons of attention wherever I go. It's also ludicrously fast and the engine sounds like thunder. And yes - I've never once used the speed limit function (other than to see if it works). It's kind of pointless because anyone you lend the car to can just disengage it by touching a single button. PS - I'm in NEPA if you ever want to take it for a spin.

The F type is nice - however the XKR previous gen is basically just as fast if not faster, and the coupe version is a useable daily driver and a legit GT

I have one and you nailed the attitude of why I love it. My complaint which may just be me, there is no where to put your right hand when it's not on the wheel. You are either touching a control or holing the passenger side grab handle.

Very cool episode ! I drove a Ftype coupe V8 with 550hp for 3000km a few years ago. Such a characterful car, a real dragster but it was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayy too much power for its handling. It was a bad car for sure but really nice as well.

The f type is my favorite car of all time. I've owned two a v6s convertible, as a fair weather car. Then I got an r coupe and sold all my other cars and daily it(in central PA). There is no car you can get for the money on the used market as good.

Now it's more often than not it's some attention started jackass trend follower who read enough forum posts to figure out how to dump a ton of fuel in the exhaust manifold or knows someone who did. The Jaguar's interior looks like every other try-hard car's interior. A mix of the same gray/charcoal color, same layout, and too many multi-function buttons. Even the steering wheel is the same generic found in many other cars but, this has a Jag mascot printed on it.
