How do you get to top dead center on this?

I have been doing this stuff for over 30 years, so I have a deep understanding of engines, and I can tell that when the cam lobes are pointed away from the rocker arms, the rockers have slack, and the piston is at TDC, (verified through spark plug hole) then I'm at the point to adjust valves, hard to explain but I think you get it. So if you are not familiar with this, it would be best for you to follow the manual. There are plugs on the side covers of the engine that allow to see and adjust the timing marks. Forgot to mention that the sportsman and ranger 400 have the same motor so the manual works for both.

So you dont have to rotate engine again for the bottom 2 valves? Just TDC and all 4 valves at .006? @@thedragon2299

@xt5life549 yes you have to rotate around again for the others. Like I stated in the other comments, this isn't a how to video, I make these so my customers can see what I'm doing to there vehicles.
