Rob the grin on your face was fantastic mate! I’m sure thousands of us shared that ecstatic feeling with you, I did For sure! firstly , the 25 people who gave a thumbs down and the Pratt last week who said ; “you don’t know what you’re doing” Can all in my opinion . . .bloody go to hell ! Secondly, remove that pedal unit they usually unscrew apart and blast it out with electrical cleaner I bet u it solves the problem, Upon refitting you some dielectric grease on the connector multi plug. As always A fantastic video with excellent content and methodical diagnostic work well done to both of you

😳 it only needed a £28 cam sensor to get it started. The amount of money someone chucked at this with all new parts before you guys is crazy 😜 The previous mechanic that tried to get this running must have the brains of a rocking horse 😂 but still would of charged the owner for time & parts. Chris is old school & knows his stuff. I am so chuffed for you guys just getting it to this stage. Bloody fantastic!

To my knowledge, those engines start on the Crankshaft sensor and run off the camshaft sensor, that's why it wasn't staying running It's a nightmare diagnosing someone else mess. But also nice being able to fix something someone else couldnt

I’ve really enjoyed all of the more recent videos where you been getting hold of some slightly “unplanned”vehicles and then find and diagnose the faults between the two of you and get them running perfectly again! These are prone for the pipe from the exhaust too the exhaust pressure sensor too block you can use a drill bit to clear the blockage

Rob & Chris Spray the throttle position switch with electrical cleaner. The dirt and dust can bung up the switch.

On that pedal issue many wired throttle systems need calibrating. With all the dead battery and other faults it may well have dropped back to default / failsafe. The fact its revving shows the pedal position sensor is communicating with the management system. The ECU just needs telling where 'off' and 'full throttle' positions are. But some sound diagnostics going on there lads. Never change everything at once!
