This is the video I've waited months for! Thank you so much! I now have the confidence to install my own. Glad to see you're riding the Valk with so many other bikes to ride in your stable!

I bike I never knew about, I don’t think it came to the UK, although in looks its very similar to the Gold Wing. Aftermarket stuff can be very hit and miss but I think you’ve struck gold with these pegs, they look to be of excellent quality.

I think they were only made 2 or 3 years (2014-2016). Basically a muscle cruiser , stripped down Goldwing. Aside from the engine, I’m not sure what else they have I. Common with the gold wings. These are 5 speed where as the Goldwing is a 6 speed

Do the pegs conduct heat from the engine , say like after few hours of riding ?
@true-moto-resto4 ай бұрын
No, not likely, they're aluminum, so that tends to dissipate heat well, plus the silver "valve cover " you see them attached to isnt really the valve cover, its a fake cap/cover there for aesthetics. The real cover is hidden behind that silver and chrome. the pegs attach to a bracket back there. If my boots melt, ill be sure to let you know though.

Just FYI, zero heat in the legs after a 2 hour ride , 31 degrees Celsius outside

really imperial bolt in a metric bike? is only the head imperial or are the threads too?
@true-moto-resto3 ай бұрын
Didn’t check the thread but I imagine it was all imperial SAE. It really didn’t matter because those particular bolts didn’t thread into the Honda, they’re only used to attach the Rivco peg to the Rivco bracket/backbone The OEM Honda cover screws are used to attach the Rivco backbone to the bike

@@true-moto-resto you already need metric tools (which the rest of the world already has), now people need both... hillarious
@true-moto-resto3 ай бұрын
Yea, but I suspect most folks who swing a wrench have both, here in Canada it’s a real mixed bag of metric and SAE. These pegs are made in USA I believe , maybe USA are still letgely imperial SAE ?
@Jero...3 ай бұрын
@@true-moto-resto That's the point.ONLY US uses the imperial standart and then for a metric bike which is sold worldwide. I'm from europe and no one has tools for this except you already have an american machine.
@true-moto-resto3 ай бұрын
Here in Canada we have both, it’s actually hard to find metric bolts in some stores here too. Basically here in Canada everyone has both SAE and Metric tools for that reason.
