2015 Audi R8 V10 Plus Review : Track Test

The Audi R8 is almost at the end of its first generation life span. We've already seen the replacement, but Tony and I never had much of a chance to drive the original.
That's why we got one of the final examples of the current Audi R8 V10 Plus left in existence to finally spend some quality time in the what has been called the everyman's supercar.

That's the thing that really moves me about the R8....The fact that just about the entire engine is visible through the glass. And the shinny carbon fiber that surrounds the engine makes it looks like a WORK OF ART. It's just a joy to look at!

We love the LED lights that illuminate the engine bay when you unlock it at night.

CarAdvice.com Ok, cool! It's nice to know that this is case. Thanks for that info. I saw a video of which you test-drove a red Lamborghini Aventador (which I also enjoyed watching). In you opinion, how does the Audi R8 V10 Plus compare to the Aventador in terms of design? Which would you say is the better looking supercar? I have seen the Audi R8 V10 in the flesh, but not the Aventador. Thanks for your reply.

The Audi R8 is my dream car, I love the looks, power, practicality, and prestige. Given the chance to have life changing amount of money, the R8 would be the first thing that I would buy. Amazing. Love the R8

Well, your dreams have been shattered mate, just like mine. Audi produces that shitty new one now, at least that's what I think. I first saw this beauty when I was 7, in my then-favourite movie, Iron-Man. Fell in love with it, then hit 2016, and Audi called it off, and called on the new crappy design. If I ever get the present R8, which I'll never buy, then I'll sell it or send it to the junkyard and get me a 2015 R8. This, 2014/15, was the time Audi shined. My dream SUV was the Q7, but Audi did the same with it in 2015, just added the hideous exterior look, my overall dream car was this, my dream sports car was and still is the RS7, but it's not long before Audi fuck that up too, and the A6.

The engine must be a bitch to service or does the rear shell come off for easy access.

Rubbish place for the hand brake, surely an electronic brake would be preferred.
