+fit4ya1975, This RAM Truck is equipped with the factory 3.55 axle gears. Because of the 8-Speed ZF 8HP70 transmission, you do not need to put lower gears in the axles. That is due to the aggressive gearing of the 6 forward speeds (it also has two overdrives). For example, the transmission has a 4.7xx first gear, 3.1xx second gear, 2.1xx third gear... The new 3.0L EcoDiesel is a great engine. Tons of torque (but not like a Cummins; that thing is a monster), it's quiet and it still gets fantastic fuel economy with these 37" tires... Not quite the rated 29 MPG/Highway, but it actually gets very close and that's more than the 5.7L Hemi gets. I hope this answers your questions. Be sure to let us know if you have more. Thanks!
