Amazing how quickly you go from a very wide, exurban feel to tight retail & industry as far as the eye can see and back in almost a blink of an eye!

yeah Canadian cities in the west, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba are like that. Not so much BC, Ontario, nor Quebec.

I don't think the Yellowhead will be free of traffic lights for quite a few years. It's much better than it was years ago though. 82 St. was interchanged in the late 80s, and Fort Road in the early 90s. 184 St. and 156 St. were done more recently. There are still quite a few traffic light controlled intersections to convert. These things take time, and quite a few businesses will have to relocate. We're on the home stretch with the Henday, though. It'll be so nice once it's done.
Is it me, or I just got hallucinations during this video ? :D :P Lemme check my cookies... Otherwise, interresting infrastructures someplaces !

Is it a full freeway yet?

I heard that was supposed to happen but I don't think it has.

yeah I admit I went a little "video art" on this one. I've wanted to use an Underworld track for awhile and it lent itself to the hallucinigenic quality. Norh Edmonton is typically a very industrial area and I was trying to bring a haunting beauty to it. :-)

Loved it. Good Job, Its a shame that guy stalled his Goldwing at the lights (3:02) The white Lotus was a surprise though. Great soundtrack as always.

it's interesting how viewers pick up on things in my videos that even I was oblivious to. 👍

Moved to Beverly, just by the Yellowhead. Took a walk everyday by the highway now
