2015 Silverado with headers easy take off muffler comparison

This is the short compilation of all the easy take off videos that I have recorded of the various different mufflers I have tested on my 2015 Chevy Silverado with the 5.3L Ecotec3 engine.
The truck is equipped with Kooks 1-3/4" long tube headers with catted "Green cats" y-pipe into a single 3" pipe out the stock location with a 3.5" slant cut tip. Each muffler was simply clamped in place, run for a week or so then switched out after the videos were shot. No other modifications to the exhaust were done in order to keep consistency in highlighting the sound differences between just the mufflers themselves.

chris bowers I think I'm all tapped out. Lol I have enjoyed this, but need to stop and focus money elsewhere. I may try others in the future if I find one that intrigues me, but I don't see chambered mufflers being one of them.

Your video of the mwa race muffler made me put it on my 16 ram with a hemi, and in quite happy with it. Only other muffler that's not too common you may want to test is the classic chambered powersticks, i hear good things about em

I have an Xr-1 40085 with headers on my ram.. but this video has me reconsidering everything cause it sounds like the tone dies down after 2500 on my truck.. other mufflers sound ALOT better on your truck

Which one of all the mufflers do you think had the least raspiness to it with the headers? I loved my TR but man it was a little scratchy/raspy for me, but I kinda miss it 😂
