A few corrections and clarifications - *2015 was the first year of the MK7 platform in North America and the only year with MIB 1. *MIB 1 infotainment does not have Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. *The infotainment system OS is designed by Panasonic.

My digital display had switched from my speed to my radio station so you helped me to switch it back thank you. However I was getting a display saying "the infotainment system has been switched off" I don't understand that or how I can switch it back on if I get the message again?????

On my Golf 7 i cant see the title and cant skip the track when my phone is connected with bluetooth.. Any suggestens how to fix that?

How is your GTI in the snow? I have a ‘15 and was wondering if snow tires would even matter because I could barely move it last year when we got snow. Terrible ground clearance can’t be helped. Maybe some smaller wheels with snow tires? Just saw the snow in the background there. Otherwise love my car.

Show tires make a HUGE difference. If you live in a climate with snow or that drops below 5C you should run snow tires in winter. I ran 16” wheels and tires in winter on mine, but if you have a power pack GTI you need 17” to clear the brakes.

No, you have to replace the head unit with an MIB2 or MIB3 that fits MK7
