I think i would get the super moto and just get a separate set of wheels bc i would mostly ride it on the road

Wow, what an awesome bike. Has some really good ADV features like that dongle and the underseat tank and it's stuffed pretty well into an enduro package. Very very cool bike for somebody who has very technical trails not terribly far away and wants a bigger bike for both. I look forward to seeing these around. Sort of competition to the KLR.

I promised myself I would never go superMoto again but the 701 is so tempting☹I don't know how I didn't lose my license on my last superMoto 😟

SM are the worse drug one can use. Even when I'm on something more conventional I still throw the back around like I'm on an SM.

Even though they were always a PITA to own I have a soft spot for anything Husqvarna.

@Lonespark

+You Toober My friend and I have always had Husky dirt bikes. It's a pita to find the right spark plugs for one thing, and finding parts or someone to work on them was always hard here in Indiana. He still has a 250WR and I keep trying to buy it off of him so I can instal the signals and brake light to convert it to a SM but he wants a retarded amount for it. Dude thinks it's worth its weight in gold. They are great bikes but at least on the old ones the maintenance and build quality just weren't on par with the japanese bikes. Now that KTM owns them I hope they improve.

What's the US price for the supermoto? I've been wanting a factory supermoto that isn't a DRZ for a while.

Air Doctor That's still too much money for a Supermoto. No way a bike like that should cost over 10 grand.

I want to buy this bike for my wife but she's only 5'8" - how low could i reduce the height on this bike? Her inseam is 30 inches.
@Yeeto767
@Yeeto767 7 жыл бұрын
You can buy lowering links for most (if not all) bikes that allow you to reduce it to a comfortable height, but just a reminder the lower it is the less ground clearance you'll have.

I just don't get it either, these bikes are fucking toys. Hell you can get 1000cc superbike, a use nakedbike, or anything bike for this price, and it will be 1,000 times more practical. I just don't get it.
@dct124
@dct124 7 жыл бұрын
zRouth I think it's the only bike capable of literally being able to do it all. With a different seat cushion, this bike probably can go on long trips.
@zrouth
@zrouth 7 жыл бұрын
Except carry a passenger, go above 100mph, carry enough for a trip around a continent. Long rides would suck on this, many have said that. It's a toy motorcycle.
@dct124
@dct124 7 жыл бұрын
You can carry a passenger after installing pegs. You don't need to go over 100mph, people do long trips at sub 80mph speeds a lot. Also if you decided to travel in colder temps, chances are you won't go over 60mph and with snow or mud you're only going about 30-40mph. The seat can be changed for longer ride comfort. The issue a rider would run into going cross country would mainly be range due to the tank size. The bike doesn't get more than 200miles a tank. If you're packing heavy you won't be riding with a passenger on any bike. Most of the people who actually do long trips with lots of gear are on a moped pushing 50mph saying you can't do it on this bike is ludicrous. My biggest issue personally would be the ride height of this bike but even that can adjusted with a lowering kit. c90adventures channel is pretty funny, you should check out his adventures with his friends.

my point was simply that this bike can fill the roll of any other motorcycle. Didn't say it'd be the best at doing each roll. If you only had one bike, this one can do it all, on road, offroad, mud, snow, desert. The old BMW GS only went 100mph but people road it cross country on long trips. like i said the only real short coming of this bike is its tank size.

I am a little skeptic with Husqvarna products. My experience with their customer service is the absolute worst. They provide no contact number, response months after they receive an email, and refer you to a forum for help.
@induristan
@induristan 8 жыл бұрын
+Knights2theEnd That should be history. Husq. belongs to the Cross Holding - just like KTM - since ...hmm about 18 month or so. The bikes share 99.5% (roughly....) of the components. My KTM sells Huskies now,. I asked him the same (Service, spare parts,...) when I testrode the 701 E. He said that there is no difference to KTM - and tehir Service was great (owed a few 640 E / A models)
